Information for Parents and Carers

A huge welcome is extended to all the new members of our school community.

Year 2 children at Hounslow Heath Infant School normally visit the school on several occasions in the Summer Term, and have a 'Taster Lesson' with their new class teachers, but unfortunately that has not been possible this year due to the COVID pandemic. We are inviting Year 3 parents onto the playground just before the start of the school day at 08:45 for the first full week to ensure the children settle well in their first weeks at Hounslow Heath Junior School. We look forward to welcoming them as Year 3 pupils from Friday 3rd September. .

This website provides a huge amount of information and resources for parents and carers, in order to support the school and their children's learning. The website is easy to navigate and update, facilitating effective communication and support. We are an inclusive community and welcome constructive feedback, suggestions and requests. Please do not hesitate to contact Mr Gwilliams (Deputy Headteacher) regarding information and resources for the website.

The school telephone number is 0208 570 1332, and the school email address is office@hhjs.hounslow.sch.uk

All LA maintained schools are required to publish their home-school agreements. We ask that parents and carers read the document shown above, and agree to support the school in meeting statutory obligations and the needs of the pupils..

The Home-School Agreements detail:

  • the school's aims and values
  • the school's responsibility towards our pupils who are of a compulsory school age
  • the responsibility of each parent or carer
  • what the school expects of its pupils
